About Me
Hi, I’m Mike — founder of Pando’s Den.
I’m a combat veteran who served in Iraq, and like a lot of vets, I’ve had to rebuild my life from the ground up. After a few rough years, I started this business with a simple idea: help people clear out their unwanted books, movies, and media—and make sure they don’t just end up in a landfill.
I work directly with estate cleanout crews, home organizers, and everyday people who are downsizing, moving, or handling a loved one’s estate. I show up, sort everything myself, and haul away what’s still usable. If I can resell it, great. If not, I donate it to organizations that support homeless and disabled veterans—many of whom were in the same position I once was.
This business is more than just moving stuff from one place to another. It’s about making sure stories, music, and memories don’t get trashed. It’s about helping others while I keep building something of my own. And it’s about giving back to the community that helped me when I needed it most.
If you’ve got a large collection that needs to go—books, DVDs, CDs, games—I’d love to talk.
